About the Glouster Clock Project

The Glouster Clock Project

The Glouster Project, in coordination with the Trimble High School Tenth Grade English Class Leadership Program, as well as many community organizations, has been working to restore Glouster's 107 year old clock. The clock had fallen into disrepair but will be restored, as closely as possible, to its original state. This inter-generational group has joined together to research, restore, and maintain the longevity of this historical timepiece. The clock is currently with a certified clockmaker and will be returned to the Glouster Depot Square in April or May of 2013. A celebration to commemorate this unique clock will take place on May 25, 2013 at 11:00 am on the Depot Square, 53 High Street, Glouster, Ohio 45732. The group will have a booklet completed that will tell the story of this research and the restoration project.
